HW CONTROL ENGINEER FOR AERONAUTICAL SECTOR
Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to hire a Control Hardware Engineer for the Aeronautical Sector at its Zamudio facilities. Their mission will be to design and validate hardware elements related to electric propulsion and energy conversion. More specifically, for the design of the digital control board, necessary for the regulation, control, communications, and safety of the electric machine (DCAC inverter) and converters (DCDC). They will join the company's R&D area within a multidisciplinary group focused on aeronautical systems. Their main functions will be: -Analyze the state of the art in control hardware for aeronautical electric propulsion systems and converters, subsequently and based on requirements, lead the design of the concept, schematics, manufacturing, validation, and final testing.
-Perform analysis of customer specifications, breaking down the specification and defining the requirements applicable to the hardware design. Perform requirements management, ensuring traceability against the design and verification tests.
-Manage design changes as well as collaborate, define, and agree with the rest of the design departments, considering their impact.
-Design schematics and layout considering manufacturing recommendations, requirements, EMC rules, and the level of standard to be applied (DAL A, B, C, D or ASIL D, C, B, A or SIL 2, 3, 4), for the control electronics. -Know the fundamentals of design based on the aeronautical standard DO-254 (Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware) or, failing that, knowledge of development in other standards (for example, ISO26262) following the V-model of development. -Perform monitoring of compliance with the standard, either with external agents to the company or internal ones.
-Procure basic components and monitor them during the manufacturing and assembly stages, until the functional boards are obtained.
-Drafting the validation and verification plan, as well as monitoring tests.
Minimum requirements: -Degree in: Higher Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.
-Minimum 4 years of experience in the design of electronic circuits in the aeronautical/automotive sector.
-Knowledge of: Communication buses CAN, Ethernet, CAN FD, SPI, I2C Design of microcontrollers from different manufacturers (Infineon, NXP, Microchip), as well as FPGAs. Hardware design tools (Altium, Orcad), and circuit simulation tools (LTSpice, Qspice, Micro-cap, TINA).
-Minimum English C1
-Report writing and technical meetings with the client.
Will be valued: -Knowledge of simulation software (Ansys Electronic Desktop, ICE PAck, TRM) and EMCs (hyperlynx). -Training in Functional Safety ISO 26262, DO-254. -Knowledge of requirements management and traceability tools (Siemens Polarion, DOORS) as well as experience in writing requirements and creating internal specifications from customer requirements.
We offer:
- Joining an innovative organization leading in Power Electronics, being part of the contribution to the energy model transition, impacting triple sustainability (social, environmental, and economic)
- Flexible schedule and other work-life balance facilities
- Remuneration consistent with the candidate's experience
- Indefinite contract
