REGULATION AND CONTROL SW DESIGNER - HYDRO SYSTEMS

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to incorporate a professional with training in: GS/Engineering specialty in Automation and/or Electronics, to Design, develop, test, and maintain the control algorithms and applications for converters and the Application SW and Regulation SW of Ingedrive converters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and test PLC and DSP algorithms and applications for converter control within R&D projects
• Provide specialized technical support during equipment commissioning and/or field incidents
• Knowledge and application of multilevel converter topologies: NPC, ANPC, SMC… etc.
• Knowledge and application of different types of modulation: PWM, SVM, discontinuous, SHE
• Knowledge and application of FPGA programming
• Perform functional verification and validation tests of the developed SW
• Review and prepare documentation associated with the SW product

TRAINING AND REQUIREMENTS:

• GS/Engineering, specialty in Automation and/or Electronics
• Minimum of two years of experience in similar functions/tasks
• C, C++, Codesys, VHDL programming
• Simulation tools: MATLAB, PSCAD
• Knowledge of control systems and converter algorithms. Multilevel topologies
• Office
• SAP
• English, B2 level, spoken and written
• Availability to travel (national and international travel)
• B1 driving license
