Seeking Purchasing Leader, with experience in Hospitality, Construction, Real Estate

The purchasing manager is responsible for planning, directing, and optimizing the acquisition of goods and services for a company at the lowest cost and with maximum quality

Requirements:

• University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager in Hotels, construction companies.
• Advanced handling of IT tools, spreadsheets (Excel), and ERP systems
• Vehicle Indispensable

Required Experience

Supplier Management

• Evaluation and selection: Research, analyze, and choose suppliers that offer the best conditions of quality, price, and delivery times.
• Contract negotiation: Agree on prices, payment terms, purchase volumes, and penalties for non-compliance.
• Performance auditing: Continuously monitor that suppliers comply with established standards and resolve incidents or delays.

Planning and Financial Control

• Budget design: Prepare and control the organization's annual purchasing budget.
• Cost optimization: Implement savings strategies without sacrificing the quality of supplies or services
• Market analysis: Monitor price trends, raw material shortages, and competitors to anticipate risks in the supply chain.

Internal Coordination and Operations

• Departmental support: Receive and prioritize purchase requests from areas such as Production, Sales, Finance, and Maintenance.
• Inventory control: Coordinate with the warehouse area to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Document management: Supervise that purchase orders, invoices, and contracts comply with current legal and tax regulations.

Team Leadership

• Personnel supervision: Direct and train the team of buyers and assistants under their charge.
• Goal assignment: Establish goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of the department.

Requirements

• Minimum education: University 5 years of experience
• Languages: English
• Age: between 25 and 45 years
• Driver's licenses: automobiles / cars
