Finite Element Analysis Engineer M/F (M/F)
Reporting to the design office of our Le Havre site, you will join our calculation engineering team.
As part of our development studies for future aeronautical and space programs, we are looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to work on the following activities:
- Create and input data for finite element models of a part or an assembly of parts from pre-existing concepts,
- Perform, monitor, or verify calculations and justifications in statics and fatigue by exploiting finite element models and/or by performing analytical calculations
- Provide a synthesis of the calculation analyses
- Write and/or control calculation reports or associated justification documents.
You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Mechanics with a specialty in structural sizing or mechanical calculation and have a first experience in mechanical calculation, either 1 or 2 years in a calculation position or during an end-of-studies internship or work-study program.
You master finite element modeling tools such as PATRAN, SIMCENTER, NASTRAN, SAMCEF or equivalent.
In general, you master finite element analysis and strength of materials calculation.
You have a good understanding of the modeled physical phenomena and the ability to interpret and synthesize simulation and calculation results.
During the recruitment process, you will take a technical test to evaluate your level.
English is imperative for studying and writing technical documentation.
