Aeronautical Structural Calculation Engineer M/F

As part of the development of our mechanical design activities in the aeronautical sector, we are looking for an experienced Structural Calculation Engineer.

Reporting to the Structural Calculation department, you will join our internal calculation office at our Montigny le Bretonneux (78) site to participate in numerical simulation projects in structural mechanics. The activity will also be carried out at our client's site in Colombes (92) with a distribution of approximately 50/50.

Your mission will consist of performing calculations on aeronautical structures, primarily using the finite element method.

This will involve linear and non-linear static calculations (with strong contact non-linearities) as well as dynamic calculations (modal base, frequency response, PSD, SRC). The mechanical systems analyzed are of the type gearing, reducer, epicyclic gear train, and associated structural components.

Your activities will be as follows:

• Analysis of existing data, critical review of modeling
• Preparation of CAD for meshing
• Data input and debugging of calculations
• Post-processing and analysis of results
• Drafting of presentations and technical reports
• Correlation of calculation/test or calculation/other reference
• Reflection on the improvement of our tools
• Knowledge capitalization

With a Mechanical Engineering degree, you have a minimum significant experience of 4 years in a similar role within the aeronautical sector.

You have a good knowledge of structural mechanics (strength of materials and finite element calculation).

You are proficient in the Ansys Workbench software.

Technical English is required.
