Mechanical Calculation Project Manager M/F (M/F)

Reporting to the numerical simulation center of the Le Havre agency, you will be integrated into a team of calculation engineers.

As part of our development activities on future aeronautical programs, we are looking for a Mechanical Calculation Project Manager.

In close collaboration with all project stakeholders, you will be required to carry out the following missions:

• Carry out the project launch,
• Develop and maintain the general project schedule as well as the detailed schedules for the different phases,
• Plan travel to exchange with the client,
• Lead the project teams in the back-office, distribute and coordinate each person's actions as well as the resources necessary for the smooth running of the project,
• Ensure compliance with the schedule (meeting deadlines), technical requirements (compliance and quality of deliverables), and the budget,
• Establish progress and financial reporting for the project,
• Manage the client relationship and the contractual aspects of the project (specifications, management of work units, invoicing),
• Establish, at the end of the project, the client satisfaction assessment and the evaluation of the team's skills.

You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Engineering with a specialty in structural sizing, and you have 7 to 10 years of experience in mechanical structural calculation and project management.

If you are experienced in aeronautical calculation, we can provide internal training on the management part.

You master finite element modeling tools such as NX, SAMCEF, NASTRAN or equivalent and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, GANTT or equivalent.

In general, you have a good mastery of analytical and numerical calculation methods and possess solid knowledge of the strength of materials.

You have a good understanding of the modeled physical phenomena and the ability to interpret and synthesize simulation and calculation results.

A good level of English is necessary to study technical documentation.

Beyond your technical culture, you stand out through your rigor, your capacity for organization and planning, and are comfortable with teamwork. You are persuasive and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
