Tech Lead OpenSearch - Java / Cloud / Technical Lead (M/F)

On behalf of a French industrial group with an international dimension, a designer of technological solutions specifically intended for the transport and infrastructure sectors, we are looking for a Technical Lead / OpenSearch Tech Lead. You will join a software development team working on a monitoring solution deployed in demanding technical environments.

Reporting to the Head of the Software Development Department, you will take technical responsibility for the solution and intervene in its architecture and evolutions as well as in the coordination of developments.

Your missions Your responsibilities will notably include:

• Driving and evolving the technical roadmap of the solution, taking into account client needs, functional evolutions, and maintenance.
• Supervising and evolving the technical architecture to guarantee its maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Analyzing evolution requests and participating in the definition of technical and functional solutions.
• Writing specifications and defining development tasks.
• Coordinating the developers working on the solution while maintaining a hands-on development activity.
• Ensuring the integration, validation, and preparation of different application versions.
• Maintaining technical documentation and supporting support teams in mastering the evolutions.
• Providing your expertise during certain pre-sales phases or in the analysis of complex incidents reported by clients.

Required skills: Technical environment Mastery of OpenSearch constitutes a central element of the position. You will work notably in environments combining: OpenSearch / Cloud AWS, Azure or equivalent / Java / Spring / Angular / Git / Jira Knowledge in cybersecurity, application architecture, and large-scale performance issues will be particularly appreciated.

Your profile With higher education in computer science, ideally a Master's degree, you have at least 5 years of experience in enterprise application development. You have acquired significant experience in OpenSearch and have already worked on applications hosted in Cloud infrastructures. Beyond your technical skills, you are able to take a step back from an architecture, propose improvements, and technically support a team of developers. You enjoy positions combining: architecture + technical expertise + development + team coordination. Knowledge of Java / Spring and potentially Angular will be a real asset. You are autonomous, rigorous, comfortable in exchanges with different stakeholders, and possess a professional level of English allowing you to interact with international clients or partners.
