Linux Application Architect (M/F)

Long-term mission - Essonne (91) Remote work: 2 days per week Experience: 10 years minimum As part of a project to secure a critical information system, we are looking for an experienced Linux Application Architect to work on the design of application architectures and high-level infrastructures.

You will work in close collaboration with the technical architects in charge of infrastructures (network, servers, storage), producing the architecture deliverables that will serve as a reference for the implementation teams.

Your missions

• Define technical environments (qualification, pre-production, production, etc.).
• Design secure, scalable, and highly available application architectures.
• Define 2-tier, 3-tier, or thick client architectures according to needs.
• Produce HLD (High Level Design) and LLD (Low Level Design) architecture documents.
• Justify the chosen technical and technological choices.
• Define virtual components (VMware, sizing, versions, etc.).
• Design middleware architectures.
• Define requirements for virtualization, backup, storage, and monitoring.
• Design security services:
• Identity management
• Authentication
• Access management
• Directories
• Write technical specifications intended for infrastructure teams.
• Participate in architecture choices guaranteeing availability, security, and performance.

Profile sought

You have at least 10 years of experience in Linux/Unix environments, including several years in application architecture. You specifically master:

• Critical Linux/Unix architectures.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• OpenShift and containerized environments.
• VMware and virtualized infrastructures.
• Red Hat IDM.
• High availability architectures.
• Backup and storage architectures.
• Identity and access management mechanisms.
• Writing HLD and LLD documents.
• Secure architectures.

Knowledge of AWS, SQL Server, IIS as well as hybrid Linux/Microsoft environments will be appreciated.

Prerequisites

• French nationality mandatory.
• Eligible for FICE elementary background check.
• Professional English.
