About the company

We are looking for an Engineer with background in communication engineering in Nuremberg to strengthen the System Test team.

The current product portfolio includes advanced 25Gbps, 50Gbps, 100Gbps, 400Gbps and 800Gbps transceiver for Datacenter, Metropolitan and Regional optical systems:

Your tasks

You will work in a team that executes tests of optical modules.

This includes Creation of test plan and test environment (test automation)

Documentation, buildup, and validation of the test setups Implementation of tests scripts in python for manual and automated measurements

Initial bring up, operation and debugging of devices under test

Documentation and Analysis of test results and non-compliances

Requirements

Programming experience in Python Lab Experience building up and maintaining (optical) test setups

Experience in programming and usage of Measurement equipment · Background in Fiber-Optics · Fluent written and spoken English skills · German Speaking is not mandatory · Additional Information · Work closely with the experts of the disciplines · Architecture team · Firmware development · Hardware and PCB design Optical components team
