Business Analyst (Cloud & API-Focused)

Your tasks

We are looking for a Business Analyst who goes beyond documentation and actively drives solution clarity across cloud-based applications and API-driven ecosystems.

This role operates at the intersection of business, architecture, and engineering, ensuring that requirements are not only well-defined, but also aligned with solution design and delivered accurately in production.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for cloud applications and API integrations.
• Translate business needs into clear, well-structured user stories on Jira, with defined acceptance criteria that are ready for development and testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on API design, integration flows, and system interactions.
• Support solution design by understanding data flows, system dependencies, and cloud architecture fundamentals.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to align on requirements, priorities, and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, development, and QA teams to validate requirements against the target architecture, ensure accurate implementation across applications and APIs, and support end-to-end testing and quality assurance.
• Track requirements and user stories on Jira throughout the lifecycle, ensuring full traceability from design to delivery.
• Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early and drive proactive mitigation.
• Take end-to-end ownership of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business owners post-development, ensuring features are business-approved, production-ready, and aligned with expected outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology or digital transformation projects.
• Proven experience working on:

• Web & mobile applications
• API integrations (REST, JSON, etc.)
• Cloud-based environments (GCP & Azure)
• Strong understanding of:

• System integration concepts
• Data flows and service interactions
• Agile delivery methodologies

Technical & Functional Skills

• Hands-on experience with:

• Jira & Confluence
• API tools (e.g., Postman)
• Basic SQL or data analysis
• Ability to understand and interpret:

• API documentation
• System workflows and architecture diagrams
• Strong documentation skills with clarity, structure, and precision.

Soft Skills

• Strong stakeholder communication and expectation management.
• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business language.
• High ownership and accountability mindset.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-pressure delivery environments.
