About the company Founded in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company based in Toulouse. Job Description

  • Develop and integrate interfaces between the FPGA and other system components to optimize data flow and processing capabilities,
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of FPGA solutions with the flight software,
  • Perform thorough testing and validation of FPGA designs to verify their performance and reliability under mission conditions,
  • Document design choices, implementation details, and test protocols for future reference and compliance,
  • Support maintenance and upgrade activities for existing (legacy) platforms, including the integration of features from more recent versions and the verification of modifications,
  • Maintain technological watch on the latest advances regarding FPGAs and embedded systems to continuously improve architectures and practices.

Profile sought

  • Master / Engineering degree (or equivalent) in computer science, electrical engineering, or aerospace engineering.
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in embedded software or systems development.
  • Solid experience in embedded systems, FlatSat testing, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and real-time operating systems (RTEMS, FreeRTOS).
  • Good understanding of satellite systems, Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing, and communication protocols (CAN, UART, RS422, SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, CCSDS/PUS).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English (French is a plus).
