Your Role

Main Activities

• Measurements: Support in performing measurements for the development of novel optical materials

• Manufacturing: Assistance with general manufacturing tasks for photonics development

• Data Preparation: Evaluation of measurement data and preparation for further analysis

• Statistics: Application of statistical methods to measurement results

Type of Employment: Temporary / Part-time / Full-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 19:00)

Duration: min. 12 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills that will help you succeed

• Education: Enrolled in a technical degree program at a university of applied sciences or university

• Technical Knowledge: Initial experience with technical measuring instruments; practical activity in an optics laboratory is an advantage

• Motivation: High motivation and willingness to familiarize yourself with the topics and develop further

• Language Skills: Fluent English; German skills or willingness to learn are a plus

Additional Information

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time basis), employment group B for Bachelor students or employment group D for Master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2026-05-01.pdf).
