Your Role

The Frontend Cluster is responsible for the planning, quality, and productivity of semiconductor manufacturing and drives the associated process and manufacturing innovations.

Main Activities

• Data Analysis: Evaluation of electrical parameters of MOSFET products to detect trends and deviations as well as to derive optimization recommendations

• Quality Assurance: Creation of meaningful data analysis reports for the qualification and release of new production tools

• Experiments: Execution and support of tests to optimize production processes and improve quality

• Failure Analysis: Execution of failure analyses to identify and correct the causes of errors or deviations from specifications

Further Information:

Employment type: Temporary / Full-time or Part-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 19:00)

Duration: at least 12 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills that will help you succeed

You successfully meet the requirements if you are a motivated and committed student in the fields of Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Systems Science, or similar, and additionally bring the following:

• Professional experience: Interest in the electronic semiconductor industry in the field of MOSFET

• Technical skills: Handling of data analysis tools and statistical tools (MATLAB, Python...)

• Organizational skills: Independent and structured way of working, accuracy in handling data, good communication and teamwork skills

• Language skills: Good English skills, German as a plus

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Workers and Employees of the Electrical and Electronics Industry (full-time basis), Employment Group B for Bachelor students or Employment Group D for Master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
