Frontend Developer

Since 2008, we have been providing an application that facilitates running a business, contacting accountants, issuing invoices, adding costs, and making payments. The artificial intelligence mechanism we are developing allows for the automatic recognition and booking of new documents, which significantly simplifies work for entrepreneurs, so they can focus on what is most important to them. We are a leader in the Polish market for accounting solutions and belong to the Norwegian Visma Group.

We are looking for Frontend Developers with a minimum of 2 years of experience for our team in Kraków. As a Frontend Developer you will: develop the existing frontend application (React + Next.js), have a significant voice in decision-making regarding the shape of the application, ensure that our solutions are as efficient as possible, have the opportunity for further development using new technologies, plan your work in 2-week sprints, collaborate with a UX designer and other developers, collaborate with a Product Owner, define sprint and quarterly goals together with other team members, have the opportunity to develop through the realization of personal goals and participation in conferences. Apply if: you know React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, you have worked with Next.js 13+ and app router or another SSR solution in React, you have experience in projects based on Agile/Scrum methodology, you are able to make bold decisions if they lead to better results, you act proactively and look for clever solutions that facilitate work, you read documentation in English, you understand the business for which you are creating, therefore basing your decisions not only on technology, you want to work at inFakt and create a product that supports entrepreneurs and accountants across Poland, you use AI tools. Working with us means: a frontend application (React + Next.js) built from scratch, without legacy code, the use of AI-based tools to support our work, including Github Copilot, CodeRabbit, Cursor, modern solutions such as hosting in AWS, K8s, GithubActions, Buddy.works, AppSignal, ReactJS, Node.js, interfaces using TailwindCSS, GUI mockups in Figma and Storybook, real influence on the choice of technologies used and on the final shape of the product, Code Review as a key element of implementing code changes, code that passes through automated and manual tests, freedom in defining sprint and quarterly goals, participation in conferences and sharing knowledge within the team, a heavy focus on application security (regular audits, dependabot, developer training in Niebezpiecznik and Sekurak), being part of a 34-person IT department (fully cross-functional teams of 6-8 people), IT internal meetings where we talk about solutions from recent sprints, curiosities, and technological plans, LeSS (scaled Scrum), where at a joint company-wide review (marketing, sales, customer service, and IT) we show what new things we have delivered to Clients, an organized, developer-friendly work environment, e.g., dedicated test environments, code review, constantly evolving automated tests, a clearly described development path (inFakt developer levels) and team onboarding, flexible start times (between 7:00 and 10:00, however you prefer) and a hybrid mode (to be agreed with the team) regarding the workplace (office – home).
