Senior Network Engineer

Inecobank is looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Network Engineer who will install, manage, and maintain our network infrastructure, prioritizing network security and reliability.

Planning team work, distributing tasks, and supervising execution to ensure deadlines and quality

In the system of operation, maintenance, and development of banking software systems and infrastructures

Management of technical issues and incidents, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures

Organization of work to ensure system performance, capacity, and scalability

Supervision and improvement of installation, update, and change management processes

Development of monitoring, logging, and observability systems

Organization of security updates, vulnerabilities, backup, and recovery processes

Implementation of solutions for automation of operational processes and increasing efficiency

Ensuring effective collaboration with other IT and business departments

Development, implementation, and monitoring of measures aimed at increasing department efficiency

Ensuring compliance with internal regulations and regulatory requirements

Support for team training, mentoring, and professional development

Participation in the development of department workflow methodologies and reporting

Leading the team and effective implementation of goals/targets

Submission and implementation of proposals aimed at improving department efficiency

Higher education in information technology or a related field

7 years of professional experience in DevOps and/or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) fields

Knowledge of Russian and English languages

Knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems

Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent)

Knowledge of container technologies (Docker) and their orchestration systems (Kubernetes or equivalent)

Knowledge of network communication standards and protocols: TCP/IP, VLAN, 802.1Q, QoS, 802.1X

Knowledge of Switching technologies: VLAN segmentation, inter‑VLAN routing, STP/RSTP/MSTP, redundancy mechanisms

Knowledge of security systems: WAF, XDR/EDR, NAC, VPN/MFA functions and their management

Knowledge of installation and update automation processes (CI/CD)

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code approach and corresponding tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

Knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)

Knowledge of monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or equivalent)

Knowledge of information security principles and best practices

Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum)

Knowledge regarding information/cyber security

Skills in working with Cloud services

Skills in rapid analysis and solution of complex problems
