Cybersecurity Specialist

Your tasks

• Monitor and investigate security alerts and events generated by security tools.
• Support cybersecurity incident detection, analysis, response, and recovery activities.
• Participate in vulnerability assessment and remediation processes.
• Administer and maintain cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Assist in implementing and enforcing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support security reviews of systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Conduct log analysis and security investigations.
• Participate in security awareness and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve security configurations and controls.
• Stay informed about emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.

Requirements

We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Information Security team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response. The candidate will work closely with IT and business teams to strengthen the organization's security posture, support security initiatives, and help protect critical systems and information assets.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technologies, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT security roles.

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and security frameworks.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of endpoint security solutions (EDR/XDR).
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and vulnerability management processes.
• Understanding of network security concepts, including Firewalls, WAF, VPN, IDS/IPS.
• Experience with Windows and Linux security administration.
• Knowledge of authentication technologies, Active Directory, and identity management concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365).
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) are desirable.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and banking security requirements is an advantage.
• Ability to perform security investigations and root cause analysis.
