As they scale their operations and expand their project portfolio, they are looking for a highly skilled and visionary Architect to join their dynamic team and help bring bold designs to life.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC experience to lead the design and technical execution of their real estate projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between conceptual design and on-site reality, ensuring that every project delivered meets high standards of quality, aesthetics, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead the architectural design process from initial concept, schematic design, and design development through to construction documentation.
- Technical Execution: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications using industry-standard software.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate seamlessly with structural engineers, MEP consultants, interior designers, and project managers to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs strictly adhere to Lagos State building codes, urban planning regulations, and assist in securing necessary statutory approvals.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve technical queries, and ensure the build aligns perfectly with the design intent.
- Material & Detailing: Specify high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable materials and finishes suitable for the Nigerian climate and market.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven architectural experience, preferably within the real estate development or construction sector.
- Certification: Must be fully registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON). (Unregistered candidates will not be considered).
- Software Proficiency: High-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and rendering software (Lumion, V-Ray, or Enscape), as well as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Lagos State physical planning and approval processes.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
