Rental Service Agent (Utleiemedarbeider/ Kundebehandler) is a two-part role:

Customer Experience Lead for rentals

Sales Specialist for demonstrations and conversion of motorhome purchases

This position is crucial to ensuring that customers leave us satisfied, whether they are starting a rental journey or purchasing their future motorhome.

THE ROLE

Rental Service Agent (Utleiemedarbeider/ Kundebehandler) performs all customer-facing rental operations and conducts professional sales demonstrations of motorhomes to convert leads into buyers. This is a hands-on, customer-oriented role that combines service, product presentation, operational execution, and sales follow-up.

Across rental and sales, the role shall ensure that every vehicle, every interaction, and every customer meeting reflects Indie Campers’ high standards.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK WITH?

Customer service and operations: Conducting check-in/check-out, briefings, and providing ongoing support during the rental period. Handling challenges and emergencies with empathy.

Sales demonstrations and customer dialogue: Preparing and conducting demonstrations of motorhomes, presenting features and specifications, and tailoring them to the customer's needs. Ensuring smooth handover and correct documentation.

Sales follow-up and lead management: Following up on leads, demonstrations, and tasks in the CRM system. Converting rental customers into sales opportunities and supporting the RV Sales District and City Lead in reaching goals.

Product knowledge and technical support: Maintaining knowledge of Indie Campers’ motorhome models and demonstrating basic systems (lights, gas, etc.). Troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Must have: 1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, rental, or the automotive industry

Must have: Strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers

Must have: Ability to understand and explain technical systems in vehicles/motorhomes

Must have: Hands-on, flexible, and solution-oriented under pressure

Advantage: Experience with CRM tools, rental systems, or digital sales tools

Must have: Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive in following up with customers and leads

Must have: Driver's license class B

Must have: English and nice to have: Norwegian.

PHYSICAL AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have: Ability to stand, walk, and move around the depot for extended periods

Must have: Ability to lift or carry light to moderate objects (10–15 kg)

Must have: Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather

Must have: Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and during peak season

Must have: Ability to handle customers in various emotional situations with calmness and professionalism
