The Vehicle Preparation Team is essential to ensuring that every vehicle is impeccable, safe, and ready for the next customer, directly influencing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

THE ROLE

The Vehicle Preparation Assistant focuses exclusively on maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of the rental fleet.

This is a practical, physical, and detail-oriented operational role, responsible for:

• Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors
• Preparing campers with necessary kits and equipment
• Inspecting vehicles after return
• Managing cleaning materials and consumables
• Supporting depot organization and logistics

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

• Fleet cleaning: cleaning and maintaining vehicle interiors and exteriors according to hygiene and presentation standards, ensuring consistent, high-quality results.
• Vehicle preparation: preparing campers with required kits, linens, and optional extras, ensuring availability for bookings and check-in/check-out processes.
• Post-return inspection and reporting: inspecting vehicles upon return to verify cleanliness, missing items, or damage, and reporting any issues for follow-up.
• Stock and consumables management: managing supplies and consumable materials, including receiving, storing, and organizing, and reporting any shortages or damages.
• Depot logistics and organization: supporting depot logistics, keeping cleaning areas tidy, moving vehicles, and supporting operational needs during peak periods.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Mandatory: cleaning experience
• Preferable: experience in hospitality, warehouse, housekeeping, or operations
• Mandatory: strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
• Mandatory: good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks (cleaning, lifting, handling equipment)
• Mandatory: reliability, punctuality, and ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Mandatory: driver's license (category B)
• Mandatory: English and preferable: knowledge of Italian

PHYSICAL AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Mandatory: ability to perform physically demanding cleaning activities for most of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive movements
• Mandatory: comfort working inside vehicles (confined spaces, elevated surfaces) and outside around the fleet
• Mandatory: ability to lift, move, or carry cleaning equipment, vacuum cleaners, water hoses, chemicals, or kits (up to 15 kg)
• Mandatory: ability to safely use cleaning products and chemicals, including disinfectants, detergents, stain removers, glass cleaners, and surface treatments (training provided)
• Mandatory: compliance with company safety guidelines regarding chemical handling
• Mandatory: availability to work in varying weather conditions during outdoor vehicle washing or preparation
• Mandatory: ability to maintain quality and speed during high-volume operations and peak seasons
• Mandatory: flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during seasonal peaks
• Mandatory: ability to adapt to last-minute operational needs (e.g., emergencies or additional cleaning tasks)
