The Support and Cleaning area is essential to ensure that every van is impeccable, safe, and ready for the next customer, directly influencing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

THE ROLE

The Support and Cleaning Operator focuses exclusively on maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of the rental fleet. This is an operational, hands-on, physical, and detail-oriented role, responsible for:

• Cleaning the interior and exterior of the vehicles
• Preparing the vans with kits and essential items
• Inspecting vehicles after their return
• Managing cleaning products and consumables
• Supporting the organization and logistics of the depot

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

• Fleet cleaning: cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of the vehicles to meet hygiene and presentation standards, ensuring consistently high-quality results.
• Vehicle preparation: preparing the campervans with the necessary kits, bedding, and optional extras, ensuring they are ready for bookings and for check-in/check-out processes.
• Post-return inspection and reporting: inspecting vehicles upon their return to verify cleanliness, missing items, or damage, and reporting any incidents for follow-up.
• Stock and consumables management: managing stock and consumables, including the receipt, storage, and organization of supplies, as well as reporting shortages or damages.
• Depot logistics and organization: supporting depot logistics, keeping cleaning areas organized, moving vehicles, and supporting operational needs during peak periods.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Essential: experience in cleaning. Desirable: experience in hospitality, warehouse, housekeeping, or operations.
• Essential: great attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
• Essential: good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks (cleaning, lifting weight, moving equipment).
• Essential: reliable, punctual person capable of working in fast-paced environments.
• Essential: driving license (category B).
• Essential: English. Desirable: proficiency in the local language (where applicable).

PHYSICAL AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Essential: ability to perform physical cleaning tasks for most of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stretching, and performing repetitive movements.
• Essential: comfort working inside vehicles (confined spaces, elevated surfaces) and outdoors around the fleet.
• Essential: ability to lift, move, or transport cleaning equipment, vacuum cleaners, water hoses, chemicals, or kits (up to 15 kg).
• Essential: comfort using cleaning products and chemicals safely, including disinfectants, detergents, stain removers, glass cleaners, and surface treatments (training will be provided).
• Essential: following company safety guidelines when handling chemical products.
• Essential: comfort working with different temperatures and weather conditions when washing or preparing vehicles outdoors.
• Essential: ability to maintain cleaning quality and speed during high-volume operations and in high season.
• Essential: flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during high season schedules.
• Essential: ability to adapt to last-minute operational needs (e.g., urgent rotations or additional cleaning tasks).
