As a Vehicle Technician for Campers, you will be part of our team in Stuttgart and work closely with the Central Europe Regional Team. Your main responsibility is to keep our vehicles available at all times and in the best possible condition, thereby contributing to efficient operations and high customer satisfaction. WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING ON?

You will report directly to the local manager and will be responsible for implementing all relevant processes and workflows, particularly:

  • Carrying out systematic vehicle inspections as well as diagnosis of problems in mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems
  • Maintenance and repair of campervans and motorhomes, including:
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Light bodywork including replacement of spare parts (light bulbs, windows, side mirrors)
  • Replacement and repair of campervan components
  • Error analysis and repair of equipment within the vehicle
  • Cultivating and expanding relationships with external partners
  • Coordination of repair and maintenance measures with external service providers and regional teams
  • Maintaining and updating all vehicle information systems according to specifications
  • Transferring campervans to suppliers, parking lots, or other locations
  • Ensuring order and cleanliness of equipment and spare parts in the depot
  • Updating spare parts inventories and systems

As part of the local team, you will also support daily operations in the depot, particularly:

  • Preparation of vehicles and equipment for customers
  • Support with reservations, receiving customers, as well as check-ins and check-outs
  • Receipt and organization of deliveries as well as management of consumables
  • Care and organization of equipment, extras, and consumables in the depot

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Completed vocational training in the field of mechanics, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification in the automotive industry
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in mechanical and electrical repairs – experience with campervans is an advantage
  • Completed schooling (technical training preferred)
  • Very good English skills (required) and German skills (an advantage)
  • Work authorization for Germany, valid driver's license, and confident driving skills with campervans (required)
  • Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
