THE ROLE
The Fleet Employee focuses exclusively on the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of the rental fleet.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding, and detail-oriented operational role with the following responsibilities:
- Cleaning the interior and exterior areas of the vehicles
- Preparing the vans with kits and necessary equipment
- Inspecting vehicles after return
- Managing cleaning materials and consumables
- Supporting the organization and logistics of the depot
WHAT WILL YOU BE WORKING ON?
Fleet Cleaning: Cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior areas of the vehicles according to hygiene and quality standards to ensure consistently high-quality results.
Vehicle Preparation: Preparing the campervans with required kits, bedding, and optional extras to ensure readiness for bookings as well as check-in/check-out processes.
Return Inspection & Reporting: Checking vehicles after return regarding cleanliness, missing items, or damage, as well as reporting anomalies for further processing.
Inventory & Consumables Management: Managing stock levels and consumables, including receiving, storage, and organization, as well as reporting shortages or damages.
Logistics & Depot Organization: Supporting depot logistics, keeping cleaning areas orderly, moving vehicles, and supporting operational requirements during peak times.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Must-have: Experience in the cleaning sector
- Nice to have: Experience in gastronomy, warehouse, housekeeping, or operations is an advantage
- Must-have: High level of attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Must-have: Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks (cleaning, lifting, moving equipment)
- Must-have: Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Must-have: Driver's license (Class B)
- Must-have: English and Nice to have: German skills
PHYSICAL AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must-have: Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning work during most of the shift (standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stretching, and repetitive movements)
- Must-have: Willingness to work both inside vehicles (confined spaces, elevated surfaces) and outdoors around the fleet
- Must-have: Ability to lift, move, or carry cleaning equipment, vacuum cleaners, water hoses, chemical products, or kits (up to 15 kg)
- Must-have: Safe handling of cleaning products and chemicals, including disinfectants, cleaners, stain removers, glass cleaners, and surface treatments (training will be provided)
- Must-have: Compliance with company safety guidelines when handling chemical products
- Must-have: Willingness to work outdoors under varying temperature and weather conditions
- Must-have: Ability to maintain cleaning quality and speed even during high workloads and in peak season
- Must-have: Flexibility for weekend work, holidays, and seasonal peaks
- Must-have: Ability to adapt to operational requirements on short notice (e.g., urgent assignments or additional cleaning tasks)
