The City Lead plays a vital role in achieving this mission at a local level by ensuring high-quality rental operations, seamless service coordination, and a consistent customer-centric experience. As an on-site leader, the City Lead ensures operational excellence, team performance, and the overall customer journey in their city, serving as a bridge between global standards and local execution.

The role

The City Lead supervises the daily operations of a small depot, personally executing and coordinating all workflows due to the small team size and the absence of specialized units (Service, RV Sales, Support). This role is 70 to 80% hands-on, ensuring smooth operational flow, solid customer service, accurate documentation, and reliable fleet availability. Additionally, the Junior City Lead reports to the District Manager and is responsible for cost control within the depot, including efficient use of consumables, prevention of unnecessary expenses, minimization of returns, and disciplined management of operational expenses.

Key responsibilities

Execute and coordinate all rental workflows: check-in, check-out, documentation, and system updates (including cleaning and maintenance);

Track daily KPIs;

Promote ancillary products through value-based selling;

Perform basic checks on RVs/vans (battery, water systems, gas, lights, tires);

Quickly escalate complex technical or mechanical issues to regional service teams;

Maintain complete accuracy of fleet status and availability in operational systems;

Coordinate daily shifts, priorities, and task allocation within the small team, including SOP demonstrations and onboarding tasks for new recruits;

Oversee the preparation and presentation of RVs for sales appointments.

Practical requirements

Able to lift or move light to moderate objects (10–15 kg) and stand, walk, and move around the depot for long periods;

Comfortable performing physical tasks if necessary;

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions;

Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and peak periods, supporting urgent operational needs;

2 to 4 years of experience in fast-paced operations, logistics, rental, hospitality, or customer-facing environments;

Strong operational hands-on capability, with the willingness to get involved in daily depot workflows;

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage physical tasks during busy periods;

Flexibility to work extended shifts during peak seasons, ensuring operational continuity;

Driver's license (category B) required;

Proficiency in English (mandatory) and French (desirable).
