City Lead plays an important role in delivering this vision locally by ensuring high quality in rental operations, seamless coordination of services, and a consistent, customer-oriented experience.
As a local leader, City Lead drives operational quality, team performance, and the total customer experience in their city, serving as the link between global standards and local execution.
The Role
City Lead is responsible for the daily operations of a smaller depot and performs as well as coordinates all work processes themselves, due to small teams and the absence of specialized departments (service, RV sales, and support).
The position is 70–80% practical and operational, focusing on efficient operations, good customer service, correct documentation, and vehicle preparation.
Junior City Lead reports to the District Manager and is responsible for cost control at the depot, including efficient use of consumables, prevention of unnecessary costs, reduction of rework, and disciplined use of the operating budget.
Responsibilities
Perform and coordinate all rental processes: check-in, check-out, documentation, and system updates (including cleaning and maintenance);
Follow up on daily KPIs;
Promote additional services and products through value-based selling;
Perform simple checks of RV/campervans (battery, water systems, gas, lights, and tires);
Quickly escalate complex technical or mechanical issues to regional service teams;
Ensure correct status and availability for the fleet in operational systems;
Coordinate daily shifts, priorities, and task distribution within the team, including training and onboarding of new employees;
Monitor the preparation and presentation of vehicles for sales agreements.
Practical Requirements
Able to lift or move light to medium-weight objects (10–15 kg) and be comfortable standing, walking, and moving around the depot for extended periods;
Comfortable with physical work when necessary;
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors under various weather conditions;
Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and during peak seasons based on operational needs;
2–4 years of experience in fast-paced operational environments, logistics, rental, hospitality, or customer service;
Strong practical and operational work capacity;
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle physical work during busy periods;
Flexibility to work longer shifts during peak season to ensure operational continuity;
Driver's license class B is required;
Good English skills are mandatory, French is an advantage.
