Quality Inspector

Your tasks

About the role You will apply quality assurance and control skills to inspect and verify assembly processes, ensuring products meet quality standards. You will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuous improvement efforts.

• Follow and adhere to established Quality processes to maintain product standards
• Read and interpret drawings, wire lists, and bills of materials (BOMs) to guide assembly and inspection tasks
• Install pre-labeled harnesses accurately using Work Instructions to ensure correct assembly
• Perform visual inspections and verify proper torque application, marking torque points as required
• Complete Quality Checklists and update the Inspection Data Base accurately to document inspection results
• Respond promptly to Production Line requests for Quality support and address concerns effectively
• Identify and document deficiencies clearly, requesting Rework when necessary to maintain quality
• Follow up with relevant teams to ensure quality concerns are resolved in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with team members to collaboratively solve quality-related problems
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze issues and make informed decisions to support quality goals
• Use digital tools such as Teams, Excel, and Outlook to manage tasks and communication efficiently
• Practice 6S principles daily to maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment
• Manage multiple tasks and quality calls flexibly to support production needs

Requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient communication skills in English, including speaking, reading, and writing

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting quality inspections
• Ability to identify root causes of quality issues and propose corrective or preventive actions
• Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
