Mechanical Engineer (Fresh Graduates)

Job Summary

Lead and manage engineering construction and maintenance projects by preparing proposals, ensuring compliance, coordinating teams, and maintaining client relations to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor engineering construction and maintenance projects to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Develop technical and commercial proposals for tenders and actively participate in client negotiations to secure contracts
• Monitor and enforce compliance with applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications throughout project execution
• Engage daily with clients to understand and interpret their needs, representing their interests effectively on-site
• Monitor adherence to HSE policies and participate in health, safety, and environmental initiatives to maintain safe work conditions
• Oversee overall project control including budget management, scheduling, planning, and personnel performance, and provide regular status reports
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with project managers and team members to provide technical support and resolve issues
• Manage multiple discipline projects concurrently, ensuring coordination and integration across engineering functions
• Apply project management and supervision skills to lead teams and drive project progress
• Make informed decisions and demonstrate leadership to guide project execution and resolve challenges
• Utilize time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institutions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Interest in working in the construction industry as a site engineer, including experience in live plant environments
