Electrical Draftsperson

Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to prepare and maintain accurate electrical drawings for marine and industrial projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and project teams to translate technical requirements into detailed drawings and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable-routing plans and equipment-layout drawings.
• Produce and revise drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant drafting software.
• Develop single-line diagrams, termination drawings and cable schedules.
• Update drawings based on engineering changes, site conditions and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable technical standards and project specifications.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions and document-control records.
• Coordinate with engineers, project teams, suppliers and site personnel.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation.
• Assist with site surveys and verification when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Drafting or a related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Able to interpret electrical specifications, engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Experience in handling all kind of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom related drawings for Marine, offshore and Process sectors
• Fresh graduates with relevant drafting knowledge may also be considered.
