Your tasks

Job duties and responsibilities

• Inspect sites to scope works and develop schemes, concepts, and designs for minor mechanical and equipment projects
• Produce detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and documentation for quotes and tenders
• Assist in evaluating and assessing quotes and tenders for mechanical works
• Review and coordinate mechanical consultants’ designs and documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Manage and monitor the progress of mechanical and equipment works on site
• Ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Identify, mitigate, manage, and report project risks effectively
• Actively manage site work progress and provide timely updates and reports
• Ensure all works are completed within agreed timelines and budget constraints
• Manage post-contract activities, including rectification of defects

Requirements

• Possess a relevant Degree with at least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related mechanical works
• Knowledge of fire protection systems
• Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) certification is an advantage
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Able to perform shift work when necessary
