Senior VC Associate / Impact Investing - OUTRE-MER (M/F)

Job description

Impact investing is a fast-growing business sector. INCO is in full development and is looking for a Senior Investment Officer to carry out the following missions:

Ø Sourcing, execution, and monitoring of investments and the portfolio

The Investment Officer is responsible for prospecting target companies (social enterprises and those with high social or environmental impact) mainly in France, the strategic, financial, and extra-financial analysis of investment files, presenting them to investment committees, the actual execution of investments, and the monitoring of an impact company portfolio, with the support and under the responsibility of an Investment Director.

Ø Promotion of the impact investing sector

He or she participates in actions aimed at bringing together actors from classical finance, impact finance, and impact entrepreneurs: organization of events, publication of studies, participation in working groups with sector actors, etc.

These missions are likely to evolve as the employee's skills and interests grow. Cross-functional missions, on behalf of the entire investment team, may be entrusted to them in addition to their main mission.

Profile sought

• With a Master's degree (business or engineering school, sciences-po, or university), you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Private Equity and/or in the field of impact investing.
• Passionate about entrepreneurship, the economy of tomorrow, inclusive and sustainable, you have technical skills in finance, strong writing skills, an ability to take initiative, and to lead a team.

• You are fluent in English.
• Position based in Réunion, the French Antilles, or New Caledonia, you possess a strong interest in Outre-Mer, blue techs, green techs, and social impact companies.
