In Space Universe is building a new kind of family experience?bringing together childcare, academy, and aquatics under one integrated environment. As we grow, we are seeking a reliable, safety-focused *Bus Driver* to join our team.

We are currently hiring *two drivers* to support transportation for our school-age and daycare members, with additional opportunities to support Academy programming.

*The Opportunity*

This role will begin as *Part-Time (approx. 12.5-15 hours per week)* with flexible scheduling. It is a split shift 7:30-approximately 9:00 am & 1:45-3:00pm daily. Off STAT holidays, school closures, except summer, which may offer more hours if desired)

*Compensation*

• *$25.00 per hour*

*Key Responsibilities*

• Operate a bus in accordance with the *B.C. Motor Vehicle Act* and *National Safety Code regulations*
• Safely transport school-age and daycare members to and from programs
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or concerns
• Maintain passenger safety, supervision, and appropriate conduct at all times
• Support safe and efficient routing; suggest improvements where appropriate
• Troubleshoot minor on-road mechanical issues
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and basic upkeep (oil, water, tire chains as required)
• Work closely with the *Customer Service team* and report to leadership

*Qualifications*

• Valid *Class 4 Unrestricted, 2, or 1 Driver?s License*
• Valid *First Aid Certificate with CPR-C*
• Completion of one of the following :
• Responsible Adult Course
• Or equivalent training (minimum 20 hours in child development, guidance, health & safety, or nutrition)
• Successful completion of agency screening, including *criminal record check*
• Additional documentation may be required upon hiring
