Supply Chain Manager / Supervisor

For a leading international company operating in the commercial and industrial refrigeration, heating and cooling solutions sector, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager / Supervisor to join its team in Athens.

The company provides integrated solutions and services to customers across food retail, cold storage and industrial applications, operating in an international environment with a strong focus on technology, efficiency and continuous improvement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Supply Chain professional with experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Purchasing who is either already operating at Supervisor/Team Leader level or is ready to take the next step in their career and assume broader responsibility across Supply Chain operations, suppliers and team coordination.

The Role

The Supply Chain Manager / Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing Supply Chain activities in Greece, ensuring customer requirements and on-time deliveries are met while supporting cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

The role involves close collaboration with Operations, Service, Finance, Procurement and other key stakeholders, as well as participation in international Supply Chain and sourcing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time deliveries and minimize Supply Chain disruptions.
• Coordinate and support the Supply Chain team in Greece.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, while contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient Supply Chain processes.
• Identify and implement cost-saving and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to margin improvement and other Supply Chain optimization projects.
• Support budgeting, reporting and forecasting activities.
• Manage and optimize supplier relationships and the existing supplier base.
• Participate in sourcing initiatives, supplier development and contract management activities.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate projects, benchmarking activities and best-practice sharing.
• Ensure company Supply Chain standards, processes and deadlines are followed.
• Participate in international sourcing and Supply Chain projects.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

• Previous experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing or a related function.
• Experience in a structured corporate environment; experience in a technical, industrial or project-oriented organization will be considered a strong advantage.
• Previous experience in team coordination, supervision or people management.
• Candidates currently working as Supply Chain Supervisors, Team Leaders or Senior Supply Chain/Purchasing Specialists who are ready to take the next career step are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, pragmatic and results-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge will be considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel when required.
