SAP Technical Consultant (SDM) (m/f/d)

Your Tasks You will work primarily as a technical SAP Consultant with strong practical ABAP development experience. In this role, you will support international customers in their business life – critical SAP environments through analysis, development, and improvement of technical solutions across integrated SAP landscapes, using AI where it creates added value and transforms legacy code into modern SAP technologies. Your Responsibilities Operational Support and Problem Solving

• Develop, improve, and troubleshoot technical solutions – using practical programming skills and AI to achieve stable and maintainable results
• Transform legacy, custom code and technical solutions into modern SAP technologies, architectures, and development practices
• Advise customers on process improvements and translate operational challenges into solutions in line with SAP best practices
• Take responsibility for support and consulting topics in SAP SDM, SAP SD/MM as well as related logistics or distribution processes
• Address incidents, requirements, and process gaps from both a business and technical perspective
• Identify root causes in integrated SAP landscapes, including interfaces and data flows and dependencies
• Solve problems sustainably and support customers with clarity in critical situations

• Contribute to structured knowledge, reusable solution patterns, automation opportunities, and AI-powered support capabilities

Your Profile What you bring Technical Skills

• Skills in modern SAP technologies such as SAP BTP, CPI, CAP, RAP, SAP Cloud ALM and integrated toolchain
• Several years of practical experience in ABAP development
• Ability to design, build, improve, and maintain custom ABAP solutions and reports, interfaces, exits, enhancements, or related technical objects • Strong skills in debugging, code analysis, and troubleshooting, including the ability to trace system behavior across applications, interfaces, and data flows
• Experience with SAP customization, root cause analysis, and solution implementation in integrated SAP landscapes
• Skills in AI tools

Functional and Industry-Specific Knowledge

• Experience with SAP SD and/or MM, ideally in IS-OIL-related processes
• Interest in learning business processes and understanding how they function and translating requirements into technical system behavior
• Willingness to build and apply process and industry knowledge when designing technical solutions
