MEP Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

Drawing Creation: Produce clear shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built plans for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.

System Coordination: Cross-check plans with architectural and structural layouts to prevent clashes on site.

Design Revisions: Update technical blueprints based on feedback and red-line marks from engineers or project managers.

Material & Quantity Support: Calculate material measurements and assist with basic equipment schedules or quantity take-offs. 

Education: Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a specialized certificate in CAD Design.

Software Skills: Strong proficiency in BRICSCAD, AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, or Revit.

Experience: Generally 1 to 2 years of practical drafting experience in construction or engineering projects.

Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of MEP building services, installation details, and local safety codes
