Your tasks

Job Description We are looking for an experienced payroll employee who can help ensure correct, timely, and smooth payroll processing in a maternity cover position.

Your tasks In this role, you will be responsible for daily payroll administration and contribute to ensuring that employees receive the correct salary on time.

In addition to ensuring correct and timely payroll processing, as our new payroll employee, you will:

• Handle the monthly Danish payroll for monthly-salaried consultants, directors, back office, as well as hourly-paid employees, from preparation and validation to final approval
• Ensure that salary, pension, employee benefits, deductions, and other payroll elements are processed correctly and on time
• Apply relevant rules regarding salary, tax, pension, and employment conditions in daily work

Additionally, you will be a trusted payroll employee who

• Answers payroll-related questions from employees and managers clearly, accommodatingly, and discreetly
• Collaborates closely with colleagues in Finance and People regarding employee changes and payroll matters
• Coordinates with external vendors and authorities as needed
• Plans maternity leave as well as reimbursement applications in collaboration with an external partner

You know you are successful when payroll is processed correctly and on time, employees receive clear and helpful support, and stakeholders have confidence in the quality of the payroll process.

Requirements

In close collaboration with colleagues in Finance, People, and the rest of the organization, you will combine solid payroll expertise with a service-minded and structured approach, as well as a sharp eye for detail.

Your profile We are looking for an experienced payroll professional who combines an eye for detail with a strong service mindset, takes responsibility for recurring processes, and collaborates constructively with stakeholders across the organization.

We would like you to have

• A solid payroll foundation: you have 3–5 years of practical experience from a similar payroll or accounting role, including payroll processing and payroll-related tasks; knowledge of EPOS and Maconomy is an advantage, but not a requirement
• A structured and reliable approach: structure and order characterize your way of working, so you can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, handle confidential information discreetly, and deliver a consistently high quality
• A collaborative service mindset: you contribute positive energy and a good mood, communicate clearly, and thrive on helping employees and managers; you are proficient with IT systems and can speak and write English in a professional context
