On this occasion, you will join our Purchasing team oriented towards the importation of medical technology, equipment, products, supplies, raw materials, and semi-finished goods.
• The challenges of the position are: Import Management: Stay informed about new legal and regulatory provisions of comex in the country and markets of interest. Analysis of consumption, rotation, and costs to determine strategic purchasing needs. Coordination with production, R&D, and commercial areas for import planning. Issuance and sending of Provision Requests. Administrative support in invoice control, generation of VEP´s, and receipts. Control of legal and technical documentation corresponding to each operation. Follow-up of imports with Customs Broker, Technical Direction, and Administration. Coordination of merchandise pickup and delivery with the forwarder. Logistic analysis: cost control, times, and delivery compliance, optimization. Verification of PM and product registration in the system by item code. Supplier Management: Search and development of foreign suppliers, negotiation of payment methods, coordination with the financial area. Verification of supplier and product suitability for purchase with DT and stakeholders. Supplier registration in the system and maintaining the updated supplier database. Requests for quotation. Follow-up and control over the timely and proper reception of products. Maintains the updated price list (costs) in different currencies. Area Management: Generation of reports and indicators. Update and ensure correct compliance with area procedures.
• The requirements to be successful in the position: - Previous experience in similar positions of 1 year. - Tertiary studies or ongoing or completed degree in International Trade. - English proficiency - level A - listening, speaking, and writing to natives from other countries. - Mastery of national provisions and regulations for importing. - Mastery of ERP (preferably Calipso). - Mastery of programs for data analysis and reports: Excel, G.Suites, Power BI, Data Studios, etc. - General knowledge of Medical Products and/or ANMAT regulation. - Knowledge of Good Storage, Distribution, and Transport Practices for medical products. - Skills for assertive verbal and written communication. - Skills for negotiation and market interpretation. - Skills for organization and management of multiple tasks at the same time. - Residence in Córdoba.
