Appointment-Taking Insolvency Practitioner – Volume IVAs Location: Remote or hybrid

Hours: Full-time or part-time

A well-established firm of volume IVA specialists is seeking a qualified Insolvency Practitioner to take appointments within its IVA practice. The firm can accommodate either full-time or part-time working, on a remote or hybrid basis.

The role

You will act as an appointment-taking IP across a volume IVA caseload, exercising independent professional judgement while working closely with the firm’s operational teams. Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing cases before appointment and assessing their suitability for an IVA.
• Taking appointments as nominee and supervisor.
• Overseeing the progression and ongoing supervision of IVA cases.
• Providing technical guidance to case administrators and managers.
• Reviewing proposals, variations and other key case decisions.
• Ensuring cases are handled in line with regulatory and professional requirements.
• Identifying risks, resolving complex issues and maintaining appropriate case oversight.

About you

You must be a licensed Insolvency Practitioner with experience taking appointments in a volume IVA business . You will be comfortable overseeing a substantial caseload, making sound technical decisions and working collaboratively with operational teams.

Strong knowledge of IVA procedures, regulatory requirements and the practical demands of a volume environment is essential.
