Technical writer

As a Technical Writer, you play an important role in translating technical knowledge into clear and usable documentation.

Specifically, the position involves:

• Drafting assembly manuals, work instructions, and technical manuals
• Delving into the operation and construction of complex machines
• Interpreting technical drawings, assemblies, and engineering input
• Writing out complex technical information in a clear and structured manner
• Collaborating closely with Design Engineers and other technical experts
• Critically reviewing and improving existing documentation
• Rewriting, supplementing, and simplifying manuals where necessary
• Contributing to a uniform structure, corporate identity, and template
• Ensuring consistent terminology within all technical documentation
• Making documentation user-friendly for mechanics, technicians, and other end users

For this position, we are looking for someone who combines technical insight with strong written communication.

Important are:

• A background in mechanics, electromechanics, mechanical engineering or a similar technical field
• Good knowledge of mechanical assemblies, precision mechanics, and tolerances
• Experience with technical documentation, assembly instructions, or manuals
• Ability to quickly understand technical drawings and mechanical systems
• Ability to explain complex information simply and clearly
• Ability to communicate smoothly with engineers and technical specialists
• An accurate and structured way of working
• Excellent written knowledge of English
• Experience within machine building, high-tech, production, or engineering is a strong asset
