Construction Manager
Your tasks
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of daily construction activities to ensure project progress aligns with the approved schedule.
- Manage and coordinate site construction supervisors, plant and equipment supervisors, and site personnel to ensure efficient execution of works.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor site resources while ensuring compliance with workplace safety requirements, statutory regulations, and project specifications.
- Ensure all construction and equipment installation works are carried out in accordance with contract requirements, engineering standards, approved drawings, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and effective communication.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor work progress, quality standards, and compliance with safety requirements.
- Identify potential project risks, technical issues, and site constraints, and implement appropriate mitigation measures to minimize delays and ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering -Professional Engineer (PE) certification recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
- Min. 8 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years managing the construction of major building/s or bus depot projects or LTA projects.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and executing complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with local construction codes and standards.
