  • Establish practical architecture principles and decision frameworks that balance innovation, speed, scalability, reliability, security, and cost.
  • Guide significant technology decisions and help Engineering and Product teams make informed architectural tradeoffs.
  • Identify emerging technologies and capabilities that can strengthen IMO Health’s platforms and products.

Platform, Data & Knowledge Architecture

  • Shape the enterprise architecture vision and guide the evolution of IMO Health’s technology ecosystem.
  • Establish clear platform boundaries, ownership, interfaces, and shared capabilities to reduce duplication, fragmentation, and technical debt.
  • Align application, platform, API, data, knowledge graph, integration, security, and cloud architecture.
  • Advance the IMO Health Knowledge Graph and related clinical knowledge assets as foundational capabilities for clinical AI and next-generation products.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify the technology ecosystem and build reusable capabilities that can be leveraged across products and platforms.

AI & Technical Innovation

  • Define and promote scalable architecture patterns for AI-enabled products and workflows, including knowledge-grounded AI, agentic systems, retrieval, evaluation, observability, and human oversight.
  • Work directly with teams on complex technical challenges, including system design, technology evaluation, prototypes, and proofs of concept.
  • Validate emerging technologies and approaches before significant investment or roadmap commitments are made.
  • Translate architectural direction into practical, reusable solutions and establish a clear path from experimentation to production.

Architecture Leadership & Partnership

  • Lead and develop the Enterprise Architecture team while maintaining high expectations for technical depth and hands-on contribution.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Informatics, Data Science, Security, and Infrastructure leaders to connect business priorities with architecture and execution.
  • Mentor architects and technical leaders and strengthen the broader technical leadership community across IMO Health.
  • Help teams navigate complex technical tradeoffs, resolve cross-platform challenges, and turn architectural direction into executable plans.
  • Establish lightweight mechanisms for architecture alignment, decision documentation, knowledge sharing, and reuse without creating unnecessary governance or delivery bottlenecks.
  • Represent IMO Health’s technical capabilities in select strategic customer and partner engagements involving architecture, integration, data, clinical informatics, and AI.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

  • IMO Health has a clear architecture strategy that connects technology, clinical knowledge, data, AI, and product priorities.
