You will serve as a MULTINATIONAL PROGRAMS SPECIALIST in the HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Major duties

  • You will lead the planning and execution of joint theater security cooperation exercises.
  • You will provide subject matter expertise and day to day program planning and execution
  • You will develop and submit spend plans.
  • You will support the US PACOM Training-Readiness-Exercise (TRE) Enterprise by coordinating the planning and execution of joint exercises.

Qualifications

GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing large amounts of information related to the funding, execution, evaluation, strategies and plans of operations to effectively manage a training program; 2) Providing assistance and guidance concerning all aspects of program requirements, planning, execution and assessment; 3) Developing program objectives, concepts, training plans and budgets to ensure policies and requirements are being met; 4) Effectively execute budgeted program allocations and reconcile expenditures; 5) Utilizing knowledge of multinational military operations to manage joint exercise and deployment programs.

GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1). Providing staff assistance and guidance as requested and as appropriate to major subordinate commands concerning all aspects of program requirements, execution and assessments; 2) Coordinating programs and others in developing program objectives, concepts, training plans, and budgets to ensure they meet US Government policies and other requirements by higher headquarters; 3) Managing program related web pages, historical files and other required documentation.
