Trainee Quality Engineer (Electronic Manufacturing)

Your tasks

Contribute to the quality assurance of products and processes through the application of quality tools, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement, while developing the necessary knowledge and skills to evolve into a position as a Quality Engineer within the organization.

• Support the monitoring and analysis of process and product quality indicators.
• Participate in investigations of internal and external quality problems.
• Collaborate in root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, 8D, Ishikawa, and RCA.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions until their implementation and closure.
• Support the validation and follow-up of containment plans in the event of quality deviations.
• Participate in internal audits, process audits, and compliance walkthroughs.
• Support the preparation and updating of quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve problems related to product and process quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on the reduction of defects, scrap, and rework.
• Support the analysis of failure trends and generate reports for decision-making.
• Follow up on activities derived from audits, customer claims, and improvement actions.
• Participate in training and development programs related to quality and manufacturing tools.

Requirements

• Education: Students in their final semester and/or recent graduates of Industrial, Electronic, Mechatronics, or related Engineering.
• Previous experience: Internships and/or professional residencies in electronic companies; experience in the quality area is desirable.
• Language: Intermediate-advanced English (indispensable).
• Work modality: On-site
• Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Workplace: Parque Industrial El Salto.

KNOWLEDGE Electronic manufacturing processes and standards, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), 5 Whys, 8Ds, Lean Manufacturing, IATF.
