JOB OBJECTIVES:

Participate in the evaluation, development, and monitoring of suppliers, supporting compliance with quality requirements for the electronics and automotive industries, with the goal of contributing to ensuring the quality and continuity of material supply for production.

This position is oriented toward talent development to acquire experience and knowledge in Supplier Quality Engineering, working closely with suppliers and internal Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Industrial Engineering or related.
  • Previous experience: Recent graduates with professional internships or relevant projects are considered.
  • English: Advanced (indispensable).

KNOWLEDGE:

  • CORE TOOLS (PPAP, APQP).
  • RCA (Root Cause Analysis), 5Whys, 8Ds, PDCA.
  • Lean Manufacturing.
  • IATF 16949.

FUNCTIONS

  • Support the evaluation and development of new suppliers.
  • Participate in the review of quality documentation and PPAP packages.
  • Follow up on quality problems related to materials and components supplied by vendors.
  • Support the generation, monitoring, and closure of supplier claims and corrective actions.
  • Participate in root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, 8D, and RCA.
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions generated by quality problems with suppliers until their closure.
  • Support the evaluation and monitoring of supplier performance.
  • Participate in audits and supplier development activities.
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of the annual supplier audit plan.
  • Collaborate with internal Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve supplier-related issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on reducing quality problems and improving supplier performance.
