Material Program Manager (EMS / Supply Chain)

GENERAL JOB OBJECTIVE

Strategically manage customer demand, material planning, and the correct execution of the MPS, guaranteeing on-time and in-form deliveries, material availability, inventory optimization, and the reduction of risks due to excess and obsolescence, contributing to the fulfillment of the business's financial and operational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: +8 years in similar positions in the Supply Chain area (CSR / Planning / Materials) in global companies in the electronics / automotive sector.
• Education: Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related.
• Software: advanced Excel, advanced SAP.
• Language: advanced English (indispensable).
• Work modality: On-site
• Working hours: 7:30 am 5:00 pm M-F
• Work location: Parque Industrial El Salto.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage customer demand and ensure the timely receipt of requirements.
• Anticipate demand changes and negotiate delivery plans when capacity or material constraints exist.
• Ensure the correct capture of demand in SAP and promote process automation to minimize errors.
• Keep internal areas informed about demand changes and sales projections.
• Lead the execution and control of the MPS.
• Guarantee the integrity of MRP processes and the availability of materials for production.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, and Operations to ensure timely supply.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for supply and material shortages.
• Actively participate in S&OP processes.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw material and finished product.
• Manage and reduce excess and obsolete materials (E&O).
• Drive improvements in inventory turnover and working capital.
• Develop strategies for the disposal or recovery of excess inventory.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements on time and in form.
• Monitor operational indicators and coordinate action plans in the face of deviations.
• Minimize extraordinary transportation costs and premium freight.
• Timely escalate risks that impact sales, production, or customer service.
• Develop, direct, and evaluate the CSR and Planning team.
• Promote continuous improvement in Supply Chain processes.
• KPI Management: OTD, DOH, E&O, Premium Freight, Load vs Commit, Sales vs Commit, etc...
