About the job:

We are looking for a SR Back-end Development (Java) professional to work in partnership with one of the largest institutions in the private pension and financial solutions sector in the country. We are looking for a professional profile with a solid technical background, high proactivity, and capacity for self-organization ("capacity for adaptation and autonomy"). You will work in a horizontal and collaborative team, where technical solutions are built together through open discussions. This opportunity requires ease in transitioning between modern and legacy systems (SOAP/REST migration).

Responsibilities:

Act in the development, evolution, and modernization of back-end applications using Java 11+ and Spring Boot;

Develop and maintain modern integrations ( REST APIs ) and perform the migration/maintenance of legacy services ( SOAP/XML );

Actively participate in architectural discussions with the team, proposing improvements and sharing technical background;

Develop hands-on solutions in AWS cloud, integrating services such as Lambda, Cognito, SQS, SES, and S3;

Act in the modeling, optimization, and querying of relational and non-relational databases;

Ensure code quality through Clean Code, SOLID practices, and information security in financial and regulated environments.

Requirements:

Solid experience with Java (8 to 17+) and Spring Boot ecosystem;

Practical experience in the construction/consumption of REST APIs and in the maintenance/migration of SOAP/XML services;

Real and hands-on experience in the AWS ecosystem (especially Lambda, Cognito, SQS/SNS, S3);

Solid knowledge in the structuring of relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL Server/MySQL);

Autonomous, proactive professional profile with excellent communication for technical exchanges with the team and leadership.

Differentials:

Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB );

Knowledge in event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging;

Previous experience in the financial, pension, or payment methods segment.
