About the job:
We are looking for a person to work on the development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance backend systems, focusing on Golang (Go), PostgreSQL, gRPC, and high-throughput distributed systems.
We seek professionals with practical experience in building backend services, synchronous and asynchronous processing, and integration between systems through event-driven architectures, using technologies such as GCP Pub/Sub. It is important to have familiarity with the Fintech ecosystem and with solutions that demand high availability, reliability, and efficiency in data processing.
You will have an active role in developing robust solutions, technical decisions, and architecture evolution, working in collaboration with engineering and product teams in an international environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop, evolve, and maintain backend services using Golang (Go).
Design and implement distributed, scalable, and high-throughput systems.
Develop and integrate services using gRPC.
Implement synchronous and asynchronous processing flows.
Work with event-driven architectures and messaging, using GCP Pub/Sub.
Develop and optimize queries and operations in PostgreSQL databases.
Contribute to technical decisions and the evolution of system architecture.
Ensure the performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
Create and maintain automated tests, ensuring the quality of code in production.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams, using English on a daily basis.
Requirements:
Solid and proven experience with Golang (Go).
Experience in the development of backend applications and distributed systems.
Knowledge of scalable architectures and high-throughput systems.
Experience with gRPC for inter-service communication.
Experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous processing.
Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures, preferably with GCP Pub/Sub.
Familiarity with the Fintech ecosystem and its reliability, performance, and availability requirements.
Knowledge of development best practices, automated testing, and software architecture.
Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Advanced or fluent English, for communication with international teams.
Differentials:
Experience with REST APIs.
Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time communication.
Experience with the FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol, used in financial market integrations.
Experience in fintechs, payments, trading, or financial markets.
Experience with services and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
