Who you are

• You have training as a Gestalter:in für visuelles Marketing and / or experience in Messebau or Shop Design and have a sure sense for colors, shapes, and materials.
• You are creative and practice-oriented and are enthusiastic about living and furnishing. Your way of working is structured. This makes it easy for you to design workflows simply and cost-effectively.
• You are as familiar with using sketching pencils, moodboards, cordless screwdrivers, and paint rollers as you are with the application of graphic programs.
• You view occasional business trips on a small scale to support new builds and renovations in another IKEA Einrichtungshaus as an enrichment.
• You have basic knowledge of English.

How your day looks with us

• Following the specifications of the IKEA concepts, you plan shops and layouts for individual departments and product areas and are involved in their implementation.
• You design inspiring and coordinated solutions for different target groups and in various styles.
• Your sample solutions make the many advantages and possibilities of use of IKEA products visible and facilitate the purchasing process for our customers.
• Manual tasks, such as the assembly and maintenance of product displays and shop fittings, are part of your duties. In coordination with your manager, you coordinate the work of external companies.
• You constantly deepen your knowledge of interior design trends. You are informed about the needs, wishes, and dreams of the people living in your local market.
