Who you are

• You are experienced in the successful provision, organization, monitoring, and documentation of technical and infrastructural Facility Management services (technical maintenance, cleaning, pest control, green and outdoor area maintenance, waste management, etc.) - covering all aspects of a retail property and its associated facilities.
• You have a completed vocational training in a technical profession (e.g., electrical engineering), preferably with a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician qualification and an additional qualification in Facility Management, or a completed degree in the field of Facility Management.
• You have initial leadership experience, very good communication skills, and good English skills.
• You are open to new solutions - always with an eye on sustainability.
• You have knowledge of common IT tools in Facility Management as well as experience in project management and budget planning.
• You are confident in building and maintaining strategic business relationships as well as in dealing with external service providers and suppliers.

How your day looks with us

• You ensure the control and administration of all Facility Management (FM) aspects in one or more unit(s) to increase the value and efficiency of each property in a sustainable manner.
• You ensure that every property is properly managed throughout its entire life cycle – including safety, compliance with laws and regulations, maintenance, and optimization – to create a safe and functioning environment for the company, employees, customers, tenants, and other stakeholders.
• In all matters of Facility Management, you are the primary contact person for management. This ensures that required information is provided promptly and that needs and requirements are communicated in a timely manner.
• You ensure cost-optimized property operations. In cooperation with the retail store, you create budgets, coordinate them internally, and are responsible for their compliance.
• Together with your team, you manage an FM general service provider that provides all agreed Facility Services throughout the entire property.
• You take responsibility for projects in the context of renovations and/or reinvestments and bring them to successful completion. You implement relevant innovations as well as digital and technical solutions.
• You are a team player and a good coach for the employees in your team; • You motivate, share responsibility in hiring new employees, and ensure the continuous development of your team through training and further education.
