You will:

  • create and sustain the Succession Planning Programme at IKEA
  • develop tools and resources to support forecasting, anticipating and identifying successors for key roles in the organization
  • innovate new solutions on how succession programs and strategies can support the business
  • use strong stakeholder engagement to develop the business and deliver business results
  • partner with leaders around the globe on their talent planning and succession needs
  • create passion throughout the organization around talent
  • taking lead on strategic programs and solutions in support of succession and talent planning

This is a new role within Talent Development, it will be a great opportunity for you to explore and build your process! I believe your day will involve:

  • building new programs and solutions around talent
  • developing business cases for new processes
  • engaging with functional leaders and HR Business Partners around talent
  • gathering and analysing data
  • innovating new ways to lead and develop the succession programme
