Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Data Security

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen data security across a complex enterprise environment, covering data protection, access controls, risk assessment and security governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and enhancement of data security and access controls.
• Conduct security risk assessments, architecture reviews and threat assessments.
• Analyse data flows, access patterns and data movement to identify security risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain data security policies, controls and procedures.
• Implement automated security and compliance checks.
• Work with technology and business teams to improve secure data access and workflows.
• Optimise data virtualisation solutions such as Denodo or equivalent technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity / data security / information security.
• Experience across security governance, risk, architecture and security operations.
• Hands-on experience with data protection, access controls and security assessments.
• Data virtualisation experience is an advantage.
