- Develop, maintain, and monitor the master project schedule for high-rise, commercial, residential, and mixed-use building projects.
- Prepare detailed baseline programmes using Primavera P6, including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activity sequencing, logic, and project milestones.
- Monitor project progress against the approved baseline schedule and recommend corrective actions to recover delays.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commercial, and construction teams to ensure project activities are aligned with the approved programme.
- Identify and monitor the critical path, float consumption, and schedule risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare recovery programmes, revised schedules, and mitigation plans as required.
- Produce weekly and monthly progress reports, executive dashboards, S-curves, KPI reports, look-ahead schedules, and progress presentations.
- Prepare and update manpower histograms, equipment deployment plans, procurement schedules, and material tracking reports.
- Develop and monitor project cash flow forecasts, earned value analysis (EVA), and productivity reports.
- Track engineering submissions, material approvals, procurement activities, subcontractor progress, and long-lead items to ensure timely project delivery.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual milestones and project objectives.
- Review subcontractor programmes and verify progress claims against actual site progress.
- Conduct delay analysis, identify schedule impacts, and support extension of time (EOT) and claims preparation when required.
- Monitor project performance, identify schedule deviations, and recommend strategies to improve productivity and resource utilization.
- Maintain planning records, project documentation, and technical reports in accordance with company procedures.
- Participate in project progress meetings and present schedule updates to senior management, clients, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company planning standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience in construction planning and project controls, with a strong background in high-rise, commercial, residential, mixed-use, and large-scale building construction projects.
- Extensive experience in developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, cash flow forecasting, delay analysis, and reporting.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and other project management and reporting tools.
- Sound understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, procurement planning, and project lifecycle management.
- Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with the ability to identify schedule risks and implement recovery plans.
- Capable of providing technical leadership and planning support within a multidisciplinary construction environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- Demonstrates high ethical standards, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
